The POWER KEG was developed by Martin McLaren, an accomplished Electrical Engineer, and now Director of Future Mobility PTY (Ltd). Having Spent the last 16 years in the middle East, (Abu Dhabi and Saudi Arabia) as Engineer, Project Manager and Project Director; Martin has returned with a wealth of knowledge, to tackle some of South Africa’s ever-growing energy challenges. Primarily designed to be the safest, and most reliable solution to South Africa’s Infamous “load shedding”.

Everything from the smallest components, the wiring, switches, enclosure, right up to our flagship import-The: HEADWAY 48v 4.8kwh Lithium Ion Battery, has been selected, tested and applied to these models, by Martin Himself. Meticulously tested and updated, to be the ultimate one stop, plug and play solution for anyone looking to be backed up, during load shedding, or power outages. The smaller units have been developed with small business’s in mind, Available on hire (link to rental page), or to own, These are Mobile units; meaning you can easily remove the unit in a rented premises, and no official authorisation should be required- All while being user friendly, expandable, and most importantly- Safe; complying with the SANS approved installation criteria, and wiring codes of Southern Africa.
